  • The p300 catalytic core binds to the nucleosome in multiple binding modes, allowing p300 to acetylate various target sites within the nucleosomal histone tails.
  • The structures of p300-nucleosome complex provide insights into drug development for p300, as its defects are known for causing various diseases.
