There is still much we have yet to uncover in the field of biology. Among these mysteries, our laboratory focuses on epigenetics, which regulates gene function in eukaryotes. Our goal is to unravel the complexities of life using cutting-edge research techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, genomics, and structural biology. In particular, structural biology has greatly benefited from recent advancements in cryo-electron microscopy, mass spectrometry, and supercomputers. These technologies now enable us to conduct research that was once inconceivable. Biology is currently undergoing a renaissance, making this an incredibly exciting and fulfilling time for research. I find immense joy in this journey of discovery and would love to share this experience with you.
